Kimberley Oliver​​ - Director

​Kimberley is an Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) who trained with a Big 4 accounting firm, working within the Assurance and Business Advisory Services department as an Assurance Manager. In 2013, she moved into industry and as a senior finance professional has gained a wealth of experience including;

• Managing all aspects of a finance function, including management accounting, financial accounting and payroll
  
• Due diligence and business refinancing
  
• System implementation
  
• Building, developing, training and leading finance teams
  
• Process and procedure development and improvement
  
• Improving management information and timeliness of information provision
  
• Liaising with external advisors, including auditors, tax advisors, solicitors and bankers
  
• Preparation of technical accounting papers and statutory accounts​​

Our team

Kimberley has over 14 years' experience in working with a range of businesses from SMEs to large listed corporate groups and has operated effectively with boards, management teams and investors, including private equity backed organisations. In 2017, she was recognised by ICAS as a finalist in the Top 35 CAs under 35 and in 2018 and 2019 was a finalist in the ICAS Top 100 Young CAs. In November 2019, Kimberley was awarded Woman in Finance at the Business Women Scotland awards.

​Ben is an experienced Microsoft® Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): BI reporting professional with over 10 years’ experience as an accountant supporting SMEs, private equity backed organisations and large global corporate groups.

He has gained a wealth of experience including; 

Accounting

• Involvement in all aspects of a finance function, including management accounting, financial accounting and payroll
  
• Improving the accuracy and timeliness of management information​
  
• The development and improvement of processes and procedures
  
• System implementation and integrations
  
• Preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with external advisors, including auditors and tax advisors
  

Business Intelligence (BI)

• Implement BI solutions to meet business needs across a range of applications including Microsoft® Power BI
  
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
  
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions and reporting
  
• Maintain and support BI platforms
  
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems and reporting
  
• Create visualisations, reports and dashboards
  
• Distribute and collaborate content via Apps
  
• Provide training and support to key users​
  

Ben also has extensive experience in designing, developing and interpreting complex financial models utilising Excel, Jet Reports and VBA.
